The lack of updates the past few days has been due in part to the lack of progress I have been making. While I had seen a number of 237 on the scale Wednesday, Thursday and Friday saw that number jump back up to 239. Usually when it does this, it goes back down lower than the previous day, but this time it just kind of hung around there.
After losing almost 20 lbs with dietary change and slight exercise, I think my body is finally telling me I need to go to the next level and up the exercise to jump-start the next stage of loss. Fortunately, the theater production I was involved in has ended, so I should be able to devote more of my nights and also Sundays to hitting the pavement or gym to start the numbers going again.
As I mentioned in my post about The Fat Tub, I have transferred some of the clothes I had saved from storage and back into the “wearable” closet. They fit much better than the 2XL clothes now, and it’s reassuring to also wear some jeans I haven’t worn in several years.
This next week I hope to see a small dip in the numbers, even if its not the 4 lbs I am used to seeing a week. Still continuing to eating healthy, although the allure of breakfast pizza nearly caused me to falter on Sunday.
